Girls U16's EPP returns for Season 26/27
Delivered by the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) through its network of Player Development Centres (PDCs), the Emerging Player Programme (EPP) is designed to identify, develop and support talented female rugby players.
Through coaching, player education and regular training opportunities, EPP aims to help players develop the brilliant basics in technical, tactical, physical, and behavioural elements of the game required to progress through the Welsh Women and Girl’s Performance Pathway,
The commitment requires attending one evening per week training throughout the course of the season, with some playing opportunities, and some day time training during school holidays. The programmes begins at the end of August and beginning of September. The programme is designed to compliment and run alongside training and playing with Hubs/Clubs and/or school.
The programme is designed only for players going in their U15 or U16 age grade (next year’s school Year 10 or Year 11).
